My son Christopher had never been comfortable in the water and then had an incident that made him actively afraid. We tried swimming lessons at other programs, but the teachers didn't have the experience to know how to deal with his fear. We came to Eunice, having heard that she was particularly good with young children. It was slow going at first with many tears, many refusals, and a setback, but Eunice knew exactly when he needed a hug and when he needed a little nudge. Eunice's patience and encouragement have helped Christopher to not only overcome his fears but to feel comfortable and confident in the water. Thank you so much Eunice!

I started bringing my daughter to Eunice’s swim school when she was just 7 months old. I have to admit that I was nervous at first to teach her to swim at such a young age. My daughter was scared at first, but with Eunice’s encouragement and patience, after three sessions of lessons my daughter enjoys the water! Two of my children had difficultly learning how to swim. One was so fearful, he was nearly phobic. The other was fearful, but she was very stubborn as well. Eunice was terrific with both. My son had taken lessons at a number of swimming schools in Toronto over the years and remained unable to swim and afraid to put his head under the water. So, when I dragged him to a trial lesson at Eunice's Swim School, it was without much hope. I was surprised at the end of the lesson when he happily agreed to take more lessons. He liked the warmth of the pool and the un-crowded atmosphere the gentle and positive manner of teaching. It seemed no time at all before I was looking at his joyful face as he said "Mum, I can finally swim!" He has made enormous progress at Eunice's Swim School and continues to enjoy his swimming lessons.
